PERETIK, George P.

Age 86, of Tamarac, FL, passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. Born October 13, 1931, in Pittsburgh, he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, the Merchant Marines and worked as a sheet metal mechanic for the construction industry and more recently retired from the Broward School System. George liked to golf, fish and boat. He belonged to the ELKS, American Legion and local Moose Lodge. George was brother to Anne Henninger, Teri Hale, Wallace "Bunny", Robert Peretic and Ronald Peretik. George is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mark and Ann (Petronic) Peretik, he was preceded in death by six siblings, Marge Henninger, Tom Peretik, Frank Baresic, Agnes Ford, John Peretik and Helen Goessling.     No viewing or services are planned at this time.
