John C. O'Neal
John O’Neal was born to Carlisle and Phyllis O’Neal on August 26, 1950 in Glendale, CA. He was a painter by trade and an accomplished carpenter. Even though he lived in Florida for many years, he loved getting to the mountains, rivers, and woods whenever possible, as he was one with nature. Back in the day on the rare occasion he was allowed to cook, he showed himself and was able to prepare a mean Thanksgiving dinner for the family. He was an unselfish husband, father, brother, and friend. He loved helping the neighbors and would drop everything to help others in need. He had an amazing sense of humor through the end.
John leaves behind many dear family and friends. His wife, Vivian, his daughters, Betsy Gonzalez (Nick), Peggy O’Neal, and Christine Johnson (AJ), his grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Ethan Gonzalez, Morgan Gonzalez, Emily McCloud, Megan McCloud, Tyler Paccione and Keirstin Savage, his sisters Cecilia O’Neal & Elizabeth Zimmermann, his brothers, Richard O’Neal & Samuel O’Neal (Debi). He was predeceased by his daughter Dawn Rulolo.
Per John’s request no funeral arrangements will be made. If you would like to make any donation, please give to your favorite rescue league, local Hospice, or veteran's society.
