Donald White O'Keefe
Donald White O’Keefe, 89, of Coral Springs, Florida passed away on March 15, 2017. He was born October, 20, 1927 in Harrison NY, the 7th of 8 children to Denis and Marie O’Keefe. Don was educated at Holy Trinity, Harrison High, Iona Prep and Alfred University. He left high school at 17 during WWII to serve in the Pacific theater with the US Navy.
Don moved to Florida in 1955 with Commercial Credit Corp., developed Florida’s first automotive finance and insurance training schools, and created O’Keefe and Associates. He subsequently worked with US Warranty Corp.
Don’s passion was golf and was a member at Pompano Beach Golf Club, Oak Tree, Linville Ridge and TPC at Eagle Trace since 1986. He had 8 holes in one and shot his age or better over 623 times.
Don is survived by his loving wife Yvonne (Vonnie) of 50 years, four sons, Brian (Lisa), Sean, John Sigh Jr (Anita), and Denis. Don was predeceased by his son Kevin (Dawn). He is also survived by four grandchildren Crystal, Ryan and Myles O’Keefe and Donna Sigh, two great grandchildren Myles Jr. and Emma, and a brother Richard (Sarah).
A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 25th, at 12:00 pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1401 Coral Ridge Drive, Coral Springs with a reception following at TPC at Eagle Trace clubhouse

Dear Yvonne, I was so sorry to hear news of Uncle Don's death. I had not seen him for a long time. He was a great guy and loved by many. I will continue to pray for Uncle Don, you and your family. I am Barbara O'Keefe's oldest child. I remember Uncle Don being very special to her and my dad.
