Gerda Anderson passed away July 16th, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born on March 8, 1931 to Marianne Trapp Boesinghaus and Karl Boesinhaus. She owned and operated a beauty shop in the Sands Hotel in Pompano Beach until her retirement in 1997.
Gerda was preceeded in death by her parents and her husband Fritz Anderson who died in 1993. She is survived by her sister, Karla and her husband Eugen Boerner, two nephews, Frank and Heiko and their families who will miss her dearly. She will also fondly be remembered by her close friends Jane Bartko, Donna Moffitt and Nancy Sharpe.

Will always remember my Dear & Special friend. There was no one who could tell a good story like our Gerda, whether she was speaking about her incredible childhood back in Germany during the war, or treating us to tales of her world travels (which was her true passion).. it was always so very interesting. Gerda was a wonderful friend and was always helpful and kind. She opened her door to everyone. It was a privilege to know her. She is finally at peace. I will miss my dear friend.
